Terms of Sale

These general Terms and Conditions of sale concern online sales as well as the sales made on the premises. They also help to define the rights and obligations of the parties. They apply, without limitation or restriction to the sales of all services, products, subscriptions or gift certificates available online or in the premises (“service”, “product”, “voucher”). Serendip Spa declines any liability for any inaccuracies or omissions in the information supplied on the Website resulting from fraudulent intrusion by a third party leading to a modification of information. All orders for services, products, subscriptions or gift vouchers online requires consultation and immediate acceptance of these terms and conditions.

Our contract

When you visit the Website or send us e-mails, you are communicating with us electronically. We communicate with you by e-mail or by posting notices on the Website. For contractual purposes, you consent to receive communications from us electronically and you agree that all agreements, notices, disclosures and other communications that we provide to you electronically satisfy any legal requirement that such communications be in writing.

When you place an order to purchase a service or product from the Website, we will send you an e-mail confirming receipt of your order and containing the details of your order (“Order Notification”). Your order represents an offer to us to purchase a service or product which is accepted by us when we send e-mail confirmation to you that we’ve dispatched that service or product to you (“Order Shipped”). Any services or products on the same order which we have not confirmed in “Order Shipped” e-mail to have been dispatched do not form part of that contract.

Products

Photos and descriptions of products offered for sale are only indicative and not binding on the seller. Should a supplier change a product, the visual representation of it does not engage the responsibility of the seller and nor does it affect the validity of the sale.

Gift vouchers and certificates

In general the validity of Serendip gift vouchers is 6 months from the date of purchase. The period of validity is printed on the voucher. After this period, Serendip Spa is no longer bound to accept the voucher. The voucher must be presented during its use, and its number must be mentioned when making a booking. The services connected to the gift voucher can only be supplied by Serendip Spa upon reservation.

All lost gift certificate that would have been validated by our services would be declared null and void. An appointment not canceled within 24 hours or not honored will forfeit the concerned voucher. Serendip Spa is not obliged to accept vouchers that have not been paid for.

The online vouchers are transferred from Serendip Spa to the purchasers with a security code. As the purchaser is able to print the voucher himself, several prints are possible, but only one thereof is valid and redeemable. The first voucher with the correct code that is redeemed with Serendip Spa is considered the original and has to be validated by Serendip Spa. If further vouchers with the same code emerge, it is considered a case of abuse which will result in legal consequences. If a person tries to redeem multiple vouchers with the same code, there will be no entitlement to performance and/or delivery, neither will there be entitlement to compensation on the part of Serendip Spa, even if the person redeeming the first voucher is not its legitimate owner. For vouchers that have been paid and printed online, there is no right of withdrawal.

Subscriptions & Packages (Series)

The validity of Serendip subscriptions is 3, 6 or 12 months from the date of purchase. After this period, Serendip Spa is no longer bound to accept the subscription. The subscription cannot be combined with any other offers. Each subscription is nominative and may not be exchanged for cash or for any other services. Use of subscription is subject to availabilities and upon reservation only. An appointment not canceled within 24 hours or not honored will forfeit the concerned service. For subscriptions that have been paid online, there is no right of withdrawal.

Validation control

Any order is related to the unconditional acceptance of the present terms of sale. The purchase is considered as an acceptance of our terms of sale.

Payment

The selling prices of the services and products on the Website are quoted in EUR and include all taxes. The method of payment will be by credit card only.

Delivery

The delivery will be the address of your choice in Belgium and in Europe. The products will be shipped within an average of 5 days. These times are given as an indication. Any delay will not give rise to damages or cancellation of the order by the user. The user is required to check the condition of the packaging and of its contents upon delivery, and the user will be able to express concerns to the delivery person. No claim will be taken into account after this phase. Serendip Spa declines any liability for delays in the delivery caused by postal services or transport , as well as any loss of checks ordered or strike. Therefore, no compensation or late penalty, whatever the cause, will be accepted.

Express delivery Brussels area (12-24h): 10EUR including gift wrapping*

Delivery in Europe (5-10 days): 10EUR

Exchange Policy

Serendip Spa team wishes for you to be completely satisfied with your purchases. A product that was not opened can be returned or exchanged within 30 days upon presentation of the receipt .The purchase is considered as acceptance of our terms of sale. We can only accept the return of opened items if they are faulty.

How to return an item. Please follow the steps below to enable us to process your refund efficiently:

- Please include a note telling us the reason for return. This note MUST include your order reference number.

- If the product is faulty, please provide a full description of the fault.

- Wrap the item securely in its original packaging (if any) with any warranty cards, licenses, manuals and accessories that came with it.

To be on the safe side, we recommend that you use a recorded-delivery service.

If you are returning an item because of an error on our part or because it is defective, we will be happy to refund the delivery charges incurred in sending the item to you and your costs in returning it to us.

Modification of Terms of Sale

Serendip Spa reserves the right to modify at any time the terms and conditions of sale. It is up to the customer to check the Terms and Conditions for each new order.

Children

We do not sell products for purchase by children. We sell children’s products for purchase by adults. If you are under 18, you may use the Website only with the involvement of a parent or guardian.

Events beyond our reasonable control

We will not be held responsible for any delay or failure to comply with our obligations under these conditions if the delay or failure arises from any cause which is beyond our reasonable control. This condition does not affect your statutory rights.
