Yin Yang Autumn Workshop with Emma
Honoring Balance Through the Changing Season
As the vibrant energy of summer fades and we transition into the stillness of autumn, our bodies and minds naturally begin to shift. This season of transformation invites us to slow down, ground ourselves, and restore balance within.
Join us for the Yin Yang Autumn Workshop, a specially designed yoga experience that blends dynamic vinyasa flow with the calming depths of yin and restorative yoga. This carefully curated practice honors the balance of movement and stillness, helping to align with the rhythms of nature during this seasonal shift.
We’ll begin with an energizing vinyasa sequence, awakening the body and gently warming the muscles, supporting circulation and vitality. As the practice evolves, we’ll move into deep yin postures, targeting fascia and connective tissue to release held tension and prepare the body for the quiet of autumn. We’ll close with soothing restorative poses, allowing the nervous system to soften and reset.
Expect intentional movement and moments of mindful reflection - all to support your transition into autumn with strength, grace, and inner calm. This workshop is open to all levels and is a beautiful way to realign your energy as the season turns inward.

The Art of Grounding -Introduction to Qi Gong
Autumn is a season of transition. The air cools, the wind rises, the leaves fall
— and with them, our inner stability can waver. Thoughts become restless,
the body feels lighter, scattered. In this season of constant flux and
movement, grounding becomes essential.
This workshop offers an introduction to Qi Gong, a traditional Chinese
practice that harmonizes movement, breath, and awareness. Through slow,
deliberate movements, we reconnect with our base, the Dantian (the
energy center located just below the navel), a vital anchor between earth
and sky.
What to expect:
• Gentle, flowing movements to awaken bodily presence;
• Conscious breathing to nourish the lungs and calm the mind;
• Postural alignment to restore a sense of weight and verticality;
• Standing meditation to settle into the present moment.
Led by Lamia Mechbal – therapist, anthropologist, and Qi Gong teacher.
She guides individuals toward deeper embodiment, inner clarity, and
intuitive vitality.
